Thirty-Six Flower Gods Rouge List
A famous beauty ranking managed by the Jiang clan of Yun Ku Blessed Land, evaluating the top thirty-six female cultivators across three rosters.
Overview
The Thirty-Six Flower Gods Rouge List (三十六花神胭脂榜), also formally referred to as the Rouge Map (胭脂图), is a highly prominent beauty ranking within the cultivation world. It is managed by the wealthy Jiang clan of the Yun Ku Blessed Land (云窟福地). The list evaluates and ranks the most exceptionally beautiful and charismatic female cultivators across the continent.
The physical manifestation of this ranking is centered around the Rouge Terrace (胭脂台)—one of the eighteen scenic spots of the Yun Ku Blessed Land, also known in Tongye Continent as Huashen Mountain (花神山). Atop this high terrace, the Jiang clan utilizes secret mountain-and-water arts to permanently manifest the illusions of the thirty-six beautiful immortals chosen for the list.
Criteria and Scope
The Rouge List evaluates female figures from both mountain immortal sects and secular dynasties, categorizing them into three distinct tiers. Each tier consists of exactly twelve members, totaling thirty-six "Flower Gods":
- Main Roster (正册): The highest tier, featuring the absolute pinnacle of beauty and grace.
- Vice Roster (副册): The secondary tier of exceptional beauties.
- Sub-Vice Roster (又副册): The third tier, rounding out the thirty-six.
While the list was temporarily suspended for two terms due to the war ravaging Tongye Continent, it was eventually restarted. Because of its immense popularity, the list is heavily scrutinized, and the former Yu Gui Sect Master Jiang Shangzhen personally oversees its compilation.
However, the list is inextricably linked to the wealth and political influence of the Jiang clan. Placements on the Rouge List are notoriously flexible if enough Immortal Money is involved. Wealthy individuals or powerful factions can pay exorbitant sums to Jiang Shangzhen to have their names entirely removed from the rosters to avoid the associated public scrutiny.
The List
Because placements can be bought or altered, the exact enumeration of all thirty-six members fluctuates. Several notable figures have successfully avoided or removed themselves from the list:
| Rank | Name | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Removed (Former 1st) | Yao Jinzhi (姚近之) | Daquan Empress. Originally the top of the list, she paid a sum of Immortal Money to Jiang Shangzhen to be removed. |
| Removed | Huanxi Furen (浣溪夫人) | One of the four great Madames of Haoran Heaven, who sent a flying sword letter to ensure she was not listed. |
Disputed / Unverified Placements
A complete, single-publication enumeration of all thirty-six names does not exist in public circulation without redactions or purchased alterations. Because Jiang Shangzhen is willing to accept bribes or yield to the requests of formidable entities (such as Huanxi Furen of the Heavenly Master Mansion), the "true" top beauties of the continent are often hidden from the final published rosters.
