Relocation of the Five Mountains
The Wild World alters the battlefield geography by hurling five massive mountains near the Sword Qi Great Wall to suppress the human defenders.
Overview
During the early phase of the apocalyptic siege against the Sword Qi Great Wall, the Wild World executed a monumental tactical shift by fundamentally altering the battlefield's geography. The Ascended-tier Great Demon Chongguang utilized an unimaginable divine mountain-moving ability to hurl five towering mountains from the Wild World directly onto the southern battlefield. These massive peaks were arranged in a line to serve as forward bases. This unprecedented act came at a severe cost; Chongguang damaged his Great Dao foundation and was forced to withdraw to the Jiazi Tent to recover for the remainder of the siege.
The five mountains were designed to firmly take root in the battlefield, slowly establishing a stable geographical foundation that would advance the frontline dangerously close to the wall and severely suppress the sword immortals' flying swords. To secure these peaks, the Wild World deployed major figures, including the Throne Great Demon Yang Zhi, who personally guarded the central mountain. The peaks were further fortified by grand arrays maintained by thousands of demon talisman cultivators, who linked their very lives to the mountains' survival.
Realizing the existential threat posed by these geographical anchors, the sword immortals of the wall launched desperate, suicidal counterattacks to shatter them before their foundations could stabilize. The great sword immortal Li Tuimi sacrificed his life, destroying his golden core, nascent soul, and flying swords to severely damage the central peak's arrays. Zuo You immediately followed up with a devastating sword strike that cleaved through Yang Zhi's defenses and shattered the central mountain. Simultaneously, two foreign sword immortals from the Aiai Continent sacrificed themselves to destroy the roots of another peak, which was then completely sundered by the female great sword immortal Lu Zhi.
Outcome / Consequences
The relocation of the Five Mountains forced the Sword Qi Great Wall into brutal, high-casualty exchanges to prevent the Wild World from establishing an impregnable geographical foothold. Although the human defenders successfully destroyed two of the five peaks and reduced the remaining three to ruins—preventing the demon army from fully capitalizing on the new terrain—the event proved the Wild World's willingness to sacrifice top-tier Ascended-tier combatants and irrevocably escalated the tactical lethality of the siege.
