Overview

At the beginning of the catastrophic siege against the Sword Qi Great Wall, the Wild World mobilized an invasion force of unprecedented scale. For the first time in the ten-thousand-year history of the two worlds' standoff, all fourteen Throne Great Demons—representing the absolute pinnacle of the Wild World's power—were gathered together at the southern battlefield. Historically, the Wild World was a fractured realm where powerful demons operated independently, with many choosing to endlessly slumber or completely ignore the century-interval sieges against the wall.

This monumental gathering was orchestrated under the authority of the Tuoyue Mountain Grand Ancestor, represented on the battlefield by a grey-clad old man. The assembled entities included terrifying ancient figures such as the bone demon Bai Ying atop a throne of corpses, the draconic empress Yang Zhi on her mountain-sized dragon chair, a towering golden-armored giant, an ape-like old man carrying a staff, a Daoist backed by a crescent moon, and a three-headed, six-armed giant bearing a sword scar left by Chen Qingdu.

To ensure the total commitment of these historically independent and highly arrogant demons, the grey-clad old man established a binding pact. He divided the Haoran World into twenty prospective territories and commanded that each of the fourteen Throne Great Demons must deploy at least half of their respective forces to the vanguard.
