Overview

Following the sundering of the Sword Qi Great Wall, the primary physical barrier between the two worlds was removed, allowing the Wild World's demon armies to surge into the Haoran World. Masterminded by the "Sea of Literature" Zhou Mi and the Tuoyue Mountain Grand Ancestor, the invasion vanguard immediately targeted the human continents closest to the southern breach: Tongye, Fuyao, and Jinjia. Leveraging sheer numbers and the overwhelming power of the Throne Great Demons, the invasion force initiated an apocalyptic campaign aimed at the total subjugation of the human domain.

Lacking unified preparation and centralized defensive strategies, these southern continents suffered catastrophic, unprecedented losses. In the massive Tongye Continent, aside from three academies and a handful of immortal mountains, the vast territory was completely overrun. The demonic armies systematically destroyed secular dynasties and cultivation sects alike, turning thriving capitals and sect headquarters into ghost cities and slaughter grounds. The invading forces sought to systematically devour the mountain and water fortunes of the Haoran World, transforming the rich landscapes into a dead, apocalyptic wasteland to suit the Wild World's nature.

The rapid collapse of these continents plunged the Haoran World into panic and despair. While some isolated figures, such as the former academy Junzi Zhong Kui in Tongye Continent, attempted to stem the tide against entities like the Bone Throne Demon Bai Ying, the overall defensive lines shattered. Countless refugees, retreating armies, and surviving cultivators were forced into desperate flights northward. This mass exodus put immense pressure on the remaining unfallen continents, forcing them to hastily construct defensive cordons while witnessing the terrifying reality of the Wild World's might.

Outcome / Consequences

The fall of the southern continents established the overwhelming momentum of the Wild World invasion and fundamentally altered the cosmological map of the Haoran World. The sheer scale of the devastation served as a brutal awakening for the rest of the world, shattering any illusions of a quick victory. It forced the remaining continents, particularly Bao Ping and South Posuo, to urgently unify their forces and orchestrate desperate, continent-wide defensive stands to prevent the total annexation of the human realm.
