Overview
Dragon Spring County (龙泉县, Longquan County) is the Great Li administrative region established where the Lizhu Grotto-Heaven descended after it shattered and fell to earth. What had been an isolated minor grotto-heaven was absorbed into the territory of the Great Li Dynasty and reorganized as a county, later elevated as the dynasty consolidated control over the area.
Significance
The county preserves the former heart of the grotto-heaven, including the small town that was the childhood home of Chen Ping'an. Its integration into Great Li reflects the dynasty's broader rise to dominance in the northern Eastern Aquarius Continent, much of which was tied to the wealth and influence concentrated in the former grotto-heaven.
