Overview

Following the culmination of his ten-thousand-year imprisonment on the ancient star of Yinghuo (Mars), the revived Military Ancestor (兵家初祖), Jiang She, threatened to disrupt the cosmological balance of the realms. Seeking to reclaim his peak power and assert dominance as the founder of the military paths, Jiang She was lured into a vast ancient battlefield ruins located within the Night Ship (夜航船). Here, an unprecedented and flawless trap was laid by a triad of supreme human cultivators: the Last Hidden Official Chen Ping'an, Baidi City Lord Zheng Juzhong, and Suichu Palace Lord Wu Shuangjiang.

The confrontation escalated into a catastrophic clash of martial arts, sword qi, and Daoist formations that caused the spiritual energy of the battlefield to become as thick as mercury. During the battle, Jiang She attempted to crush Chen Ping'an by lifting an entire mountain-range array and smashing it down like a massive seal. Chen Ping'an effortlessly shattered the mountains with a single sword strike and countered by manifesting a replica of Jiang She's natal porcelain bowl. Using his fourth natal flying sword, "Beidou" (Big Dipper), Chen Ping'an anchored a massive Ziwei Enclosure star array that forced Jiang She to step exactly where dictated, effectively pinning the Military Ancestor down. To seal the trap, Zheng Juzhong threw a refined, ruined miniature version of Baidi City directly at Jiang She.

The trio's ultimate goal was not merely to kill Jiang She, but to completely dismantle his legacy through a coordinated usurpation: "usurping the position, taking the name, and acquiring the substance" (篡其位,夺其名,得其实). As they executed the Military Ancestor, the spoils were divided flawlessly. Wu Shuangjiang usurped the military lineage to establish an orthodox path in the Qingming Heaven; Chen Ping'an claimed the orthodox "name" of the new Military Ancestor by delivering the killing blows; and Zheng Juzhong absorbed Jiang She's ten thousand years of cultivation and martial destiny.

Outcome / Consequences

The execution of Jiang She permanently eliminated a volatile ancient powerhouse who could have drastically altered the balance of power during the Counter-Offensive phase. To finalize their victory and lay claim to the legacy, Wu Shuangjiang wrote a "wild history" directly across the blue sky (手书于青天), announcing to the heavens and the earth that the trio had slain the Military Ancestor. This cosmological execution fundamentally shifted the orthodox authority of the Military lineage across multiple worlds and solidified the supreme status of Chen Ping'an, Zheng Juzhong, and Wu Shuangjiang.
